Happy, happy Friday! We have had a very hot one this week and it is starting to cool down by the looks of things which I am actually looking forward to a little bit.
The next few weeks are going to be a little more mellow than usual as I try to finally get things organized and posted. The more gift certificates I give instead of product, the more time I have to get your orders finished and onto your little ones!
So since I am having some issues with facebook we are going to do this a little different than usual. We are going to have you leave a comment here on your favorite Dr Suess book. I am looking at adding some items with this wonderful fabric:
so I'm looking for a little inspiration. I wouldn't mind if you let me know what you would like to see from this fabric either. I have been collecting ideas from all you wonderful readers over the last few days and I'm starting to get inspired.
So there is only one entry this week. Sorry, but that also means that everyone has the same chance of winning this one!
And here's how we decide, we will use a random number generator to pick which post should be selected as the winner. So there will be no cheating and the only way to win is to leave your comments below! Entries must be received by midnight Friday and winner will be picked Saturday morning!
If you have any questions about commenting please e-mail me at jsdesignsstudio@yahoo.com (our new e-mail) or comment on my facebook page.
Thanks for joining us and good luck!
Jenny

ReplyDeleteThe Grinch That Stole Christmas is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI think it would be cute to do pinafores (those wrap-around dresses) with strips of the Thing One and Thing Two fabric and the dots fabric.
Your girls would be adorable in Thing One and Thing Two! One could have the dots fabric and the other the red stripes! And of course matching bloomers!

Bags...a little bag (like an overnight bag for going to Grandma's house...whenever that may happen ;)) or a hobo bag is a good idea, too. With the Dr. Suess print on the outside and either the stripes or red dots on the inside. How fun! Our favorite Dr. Suess book is The Eye Book...we also enjoy The Birthday Book.
ReplyDeleteHorton Hears a Who! :] love that book!

Picking a favorite Dr Suess book is harder than it seems. I think if we had to go with one it would have to be Horton Hears a Who.

My fav book ever was Green Eggs and Ham. It's the first book I purchased for my daughter who is not born yet. I've read it ttimes already. My mother was so sick of that book she often tried to skip pages. That of course never worked. Kids know when they are being cheated of a good thing. Did you know that even Dr.Suess is deceased, his family is releasing a new book from his works this fall? I think you shhould make a book bag (tote) from some of this material. It seems fitting since we're talking about books. Kendradawn1985@hotmail.com
